We’re back home now, safe and sound. Seattle was amazing! We visited so many places, and I took so many pictures (like, 1400!) and I’ve narrowed it down to a few that I wanted to share with you. Enjoy!

Okay, so maybe that’s more than a few, but I hope you enjoyed them. We had such a fun time! We loved the aquarium, the Pacific Science Center, especially the butterfly house, the Space Needle (even though I’m not a fan of heights), and especially Pike Place! I could have spent the entire weekend there. The Piers were amazing, and so full of color and cute little shops. We loved Ivar’s; I’ve never had a better meal!
All in all, we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. There were a few moments of disillusionment—like when the first thing we saw coming into town was a naked homeless person washing their clothes in a fountain (which was a bit traumatic…)—but we realized that it’s a city just like any other, with fantastic sights, great food, and wonderful places to explore.
We’re glad to be back, but we had an amazing experience in a great city! We’ll definitely be going back, if only so I get some fresh fish and chips!
It looks like you had a blast!! I’ve never been to Seattle, but it’s on my list! I like that picture of your husband in the middle there.
You guys are a cute couple!
Thanks! That’s my new favorite picture of Travis. He’s so handsome!
Seattle is one of the American cities I hope to visit one day. Your photos are lovely.
And you are right about cities being cities — I felt the same way about the few homeless people we saw in Paris in 2002.
Thank you! I love taking pictures, and we were lucky to be able to borrow an amazing camera for the trip.
My friend was telling me about Paris; she said it’s not much like the romantic, picture-perfect way people expect it to be. I think most places are like that, but there are always amazing things to be seen no matter what.
Awesome! My fave was the one of you in sunglasses! Glad you guys had a great time!
We had a fantastic time! And that’s definitely my new favorite picture of myself. Travis was snapping so many of me every time he had the camera, he was bound to get a good one.
