This post was originally titled:
Confessions or Why my Life Resists Simplicity or Why Does the Internet Have So Much Stuff or Why I’m a Grade School Outcast even though I’m a Grown-up.
If that is at all enlightening.
Confession #1 : I don’t update nearly as often as I’d like.
I know I don’t need to post every day, but I hope that I can get back to posting a few times a week rather than this week/week and a half I’ve got going on right now.
Confession #2: I feel I need a pretty and original photo for every post!
There you go. Obligatory original photograph. It even has a gourd!
Confession #3: I read things other than simplicity blogs and I’m pretty sure it’s bad for my health (as in, sometimes I forget to eat).
Confession #4: I avoid writing posts because the internet is taking over my life and it’s my small rebellion against that fact.
Confession #5 (and completely unrelated to the other 4): I occasionally eat meals at the cemetery, which leads me to the grade school outcast conclusion. Whenever I eat there, I feel bad and try to hide it when people drive by, and I’m always reminded of those pre-teen movies where the social outcast eats lunch in the bathroom. I imagine whenever someone comes in to use the bathroom, they lift their feet so they aren’t caught. I feel just like that.
Thank you for reading even when my posting is sporadic. I’m planning a bit of an overhaul for the site so please bear with me as I’m changing things around.
if i had to do take a picture for every post.. it wouldn’t ever happen. i wish i could though
I popped over from your comment on small notebook which I loved!
I think you’re being too hard on yourself – just post!
I’m doing a thing on my organising blog (tell me if you want the link) where I’m posting daily for April. And do you know? I’m finding it easier to post daily than 3 times a week. I think it’s got to do with habits….
And btw, you are AWESOME just the way you are
